1986: Graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from University College London, followed by a Master of Laws (L.L.M.).

1987: Completed legal training at the Council of Legal Education (C.L.E) in London and was called to the Bar as a member of the Inner Temple
Career Development:

1998: Returned to Guyana and joined Hughes Fields & Stoby, where he led the IT department and expanded the firm's international reach. His practice covers banking, commercial law, intellectual property, and other sectors.
Contributions to Guyanese Legal System:

1999: Elected Vice President of the Guyana Bar Association and helped initiate its annual conferences.

2002: Became President of the Bar Association, leading the Social Partners Initiative and forming a committee to address case backlog in the High Court.

2005: Acted as lead counsel in high-profile commercial cases, including dismantling a telecommunications monopoly in Guyana and advising on the acquisition of COURTS (UK) Ltd in the Caribbean.
